All lambs are DNA tested at both UC Davis and Flock 54 and are double registered at both VBSANA and VBSS. The “imported embryo” lambs came from New Zealand. The sires are the well-known Parkdale Eric and Parkdale Dart. The donor ewes were selected for long straight backs, straight legs, nice hoof angle, good bite, excellent mothering ability and overall health by New Zealand Veterinarian and Valais Blacknose breeder. Most of the donors represent bloodlines that are not otherwise available in the U.S. We also have fullbloods, bred on our farm, from sires and dams who were imported embryos from U.K. and New Zealand, and/or from imported semen.

Well, Geneva had triplets her very first lambing! This little Ivette is so sweet. Truly tame since birth. We consider Geneva one of our best ewes and we bred her to "maximum points" Highland Harvey to produce these lambs! Ivette has a very light knee patch on the left. She is RR at codon 171 so all lambs will be scrapie resistant. We think Ivette will make a great addition to a breeding flock. She has excellent conformation and fleeces on both sire and dam.

We have had a number of lambs from Posey and all have a striking, loose but intact lock formation to their fleece. It is very pretty. Prudence is well-built with a level topline, nice rib-spring and width throughout. Prudence will make a great ewe for a breeding flock, we have kept her full sister Paloma, and half sister, Primrose as breeding stock for our flock, and are very happy with them, and delighted with their fleeces.
