Valais For Sale
All lambs are DNA tested at both UC Davis and Flock 54 and are double registered at both VBSANA and VBSS. The “imported embryo” lambs came from New Zealand. The sires are the well-known Parkdale Eric and Parkdale Dart. The donor ewes were selected for long straight backs, straight legs, nice hoof angle, good bite, excellent mothering ability and overall health by New Zealand Veterinarian and Valais Blacknose breeder. Most of the donors represent bloodlines that are not otherwise available in the U.S. We also have fullbloods, bred on our farm, from sires and dams who were imported embryos from U.K. and New Zealand, and/or from imported semen.

Bella Lui PedigreeNamed after a mountain in the Valais region of Switzerland, this amazing ewe had her first lamb 9/27/2025 and lambed again 5/17/2026. She has a ton of milk for a Valais Blacknose. We purchased two U.K. embryos from this mating and both "took", and they were both ewes! We have used Bella Lui's son on our flock and will also be keeping one of her twin ewe lambs from this year, as well as her full sister. Poppy Pedigree Poppy is a reliable brood ewe. We have used her for both an embryo recipient and to produce her own lambs. She produced a lovely ewe lamb this year, so we are offering Poppy and her ram lam, (wethered) for sale. She is not a lap sheep, she is a good mom, super healthy (including a lifelong FAMACHA score of 1), and weans big healthy lambs without losing condition herself. Her fleece is that super-white color that really stands out. She is clean polled and her foundation is Romeldale, our hardiest breed. Since VBSS is no longer allowing new foundation ewes, we were lucky we added the Romeldale stock to the herdbook when we did.
